Marluxia sat ontop of the waterfall, his legs crossed, simply enjoying the fresh air. He kicked his legs listening to music on his iphone, just enjoying the beauty of the scenary and the music itself. He caught sight of a few animals that roamed around the bottom of the waterfall, bu simply ignored them, enjoying his own free time. He laid back and slowly closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep... sorta.

"No work, no problems."

He sighed happily, and moved around a little, making himself comfortable in the cold wind. That was, untill he felt a small drop of water come down on his face. He opened his eyes, and the dark, gloomy clouds covered the bright sun, and rain poured down on him. He simply smiled, and drifted back off to sleep, enjoying the chilly, wet weather.

Guts growls lightly forgetting completely about the kills "if you touch me again i will not suppress myself anymore i will kill you demon or not" he's serious staring into the eyes of marluxia would see in his eyes that if he touched guts again he would be attacked Guts was not stable as that was clearly visible and something about being touched by him sent fury coursing through his body it made his blood boil and want to kill something anything luckily he had control over himself lately but it was wearing thin

Marluxia gave him a cold chuckle before he kissed Guts lightly, and quickly flipped away from him. If Guts attacked him, then it wouldn't be his fault that the mission was failed. Besides, if Guts died here, he would never get to see the gods who cursed him ith that mark, and killed his beloved. Marluxia simply pulled the earphones out of his ears, and allowed the music blased from he small earphones. He gave Guts a sadistic smile before slendering his eyes.

"You don't want to die before you can avenge your beloved do you?"

Guts didnt hesitate the second marluxia touched him he sent one hundred thousand volts of electricity from his body into his sending him flying back the electricity of that level wouldnt kill him but it would hurt quite a bit and stun him Guts unsheathed his massive sword "i gave you fair warning now die...."

Marluxia was struck by the bolt, and was sent sliding backwards. However, he quickly regained his composure, hardly harmed by the attack. He then quickly flipped onto the lake and gave him a sadistic smile. He summoned his scythe, and twirled it in front of him. He had no intention of killing Guts, or did he? If he killed Guts, he could continue on training to become an arc angel, however, if he kills the man, he could become a fallen angel, a rank higher than even an arc angel. He would finally be able to roam the lands freely, and have control over what he wanted to do. He gave the man a sadistic chuckle and then fell gracefully into his own battlestance.

Guts laughed his dark chuckle spinning his blade around his hands "the heavens didnt choose me the devil did" he grins his beastly grin staring into marluxia's eyes "and now im going to send there little angel boy right back to them in pieces for doubting my word" he holds out his right arm and sends a bolt of lightning at marluxia knowing he has no choice but to dodge "come over here and fight me like a man"

Marluxia easily avoided the thunder bolt by leaping onto the ground. He stood across the river from Guts, his evil smirk still on his face. He made his roots strike from the ground, seventeen of them attacking him from all angles except above him.

"I'm not a man, just an angel. And patheti demons like you should learn their place and just die!!"

Guts used the lightning to burns the vines to shes "you'll have to come face me your little tricks and mine wont do a thing to each other only our cold hard steel will" he licks the sharpened edge of his blade while grinning at marluxia "now come come so i may chop you into little pieces"

Marluxia simply sighed and made a heavy rain of sakura petals cover the aea. Suddenly they turned into a wild tornado and charged at Guts. These petals were now sharp enough to slash through his flesh.

Guts surrounded himself with a dome of thick earth the petals no matter how strong could only go so deep into the earth

Marluxia simply chuckled slightly before snapping his fingers. Suddenly, the petals exploded. A great amount of debris surrounded the area, blocking Marluxia's sight of what happened to Guts. He stood there, his scythe in his left hand.

Guts remembered the explosion from the battlefield earlier after marluxia snapped his finger as the first petal went off the dome shook and guts knew it wouldnt last he disappears into the earth and came ot behind marluxia "that all you got little guy?" he grins at him almost playfully but not quite

Marluxia imply chuckled, for right when Guts came out of the ground, Marluxia's roots struck out of the ground and aimed to pierce through his body once again. Marluxia used his below average spped to appear suddenly on the lake, and looked at Guts with a cold smirk on his face. He didn't dignify him with a reply, but reather just dismissed his statement.

Guts once again used his control over lightning to burn the vines to ashes he knew marluxia's powers now and he wouldnt underestimate him like so many others would "as i said our tricks wont work on each other only cold steel will kill one of us...."

Marluxia chuckled and then started to float in the air, slightly. He looked at Guts with an evil smirk on his face before twirling his scythe and falling ino his normal battle stance.

Guts lowered his stance so swinging the massive sword wouldnt throw him off balance he stares into marluxia's eyes calmly "you know they say that people of high enough skill levels can tell what their opponent will do by merely staring into their eyes and counter each other perfectly i wonder if we're high enough up there" he laughs his dark chuckle

Marluxia simply let out a maniacal laugh before he lashed out at Guts with immense speed, slashing away at him so quickly that it seemed as if he attacked with more than one scythe.

Guts laughed back and swung his massive sword once catching the scythe
on his blade he pushed forward making the blade intertwine with each
other marluxia and he were almost chest to chest now "come on now dont
disappoint me"

Marluxia rose his left yebrow, looking almost confused when he suddenly smirked, and used his agility to make the curved part of his scythe spin as he flipped forward over Guts, and landed a few meters away from him, a cold smile on his face. He looked back at Guts, and snapped his fingers. Marluxia had snuck one of his explosive petals onto Guts's blades once he had flipped over it, and once his fingers snapped, the petal exploded.

"Believe me, no disappointment shall befall you, except the disappointment of defeat."

Guts feels the explosion go around his blade because of the size and feels the heat on his face a few burns he grins "oh thats more like it!" he swings hard once at marluxia's chest sideways with the now smoking blade

Marluxia quickly flipped backwards, and stood in the sky, hi scythe hld behind his back. Marluxia simply waved his finger and clicked his tongue with ech side his finger went to.

"Your starting to bore me now my friend."

Marluxia quickly flipped over him and dropped another petal right inront of his face and snapped mid way through his flip. The petal exploded, and dark smoke covered the area, however, Marluxia came out of the smoke sliding. He had managed to flip out of range of the explosion, but just barely. Suddenly, he noticed he had burned the bottom of his jacket.

Guts had expected this kind of weak fighting from marluxia now he had formed a protective mask of earth over his face and hand the rest was easily protected by his berserker armor he turns and drops the sword into the ground quickly the sudden loss of the sword weight would increase Guts impressive speed even more he slammed his left arm forward for a punch at marluxia's face

Marluxia easily dodged the attack, and brought his foot up towards Guts's jaw, at th sametime, he brought his scythe low enough to try and slice off Guts's legs.

Guts jumped up and backwards the foot missing his chin by a few centimeters and the scythes blade going right under him as he kicked both armored feet out and kicked marluxia while he was in mid attack he landed beside his blade as it stuck in to ground
